Healy Runs Impressive 400m to jump to the top of the European Womens 400m Rankings



Phil Healy posted an impressive 52.31 today in Vienna outpacing last year's European outdoor 400m bronze medalist, Dutchwoman Lisanne de Witte. British 400m runner Elidh Doyle, last year's bronze medalist in the World Indoor Championships, finished third in 53.08.


Healy's indoor personal best 400m is 52.08, which she set last year in Vienna. Healy's time is the second fastest in the world this year.


Healy is also the Irish 100m record holder running 11.28 and also the 200m record holder and the first Irishwoman to run under 23 seconds for 200m (22.99)


Healy is building up to this years European Indoor Championship to be held in Glasgow in early March.
