Bullis School Sets New High School 4x400M Record

The Bullis School (Potomac,MD) Boys 4x400 relay team consisting of Andre Turay, Ryan Willie, Jay Pendarvis Jr and Ashton Allen dominated at this weekends Virginia Showcase in Lynchburg, VA and set a new national high school record running 3:12.53. The race was close through
the first 400 meters, but Bullis steadily pulled away and won by nearly 30 meters over 2nd place LC Bird (3:20.71). Allen is also the current high school leader for 400 meters.

Every leg was spectacular. From senior Andre Turay on the first leg, to junior Ryan Willie's 2nd leg of 48.5,  junior Jay Pendarvis's 3rd leg of 47.9 and  Ashton Allen's blistering anchor leg of 46.5.

Only half way through January, the Bullis Boys  4x400 relay team still has time for improvement which makes it scary to think how good they are going to be come the New Balance Indoor Nationals  March 8-10th in New York.
